Oliver Green Café is our restaurant and lunchroom at Gelderlandplein in Buitenveldert, Amsterdam-Zuid. You will find the Oliver Green dishes you know and more, in a lovely setting: our own, wider menu with all day brunch and a lunch worth sitting down for. We offer table service: take a seat, and we take your order and bring everything to you. With around a hundred seats inside and on the terrace together, this is the place for a proper breakfast, a long lunch together or simply a good coffee.
Feel free to just walk in, but it can get busy at weekends and around lunchtime. Book a table and it will be ready for you.

You can come for breakfast in Buitenveldert every day from half past eight. If you like to start savoury, go for eggs benedict or Turkish eggs: soft-boiled eggs with tzatziki, dill and chilli oil, served with toasted sourdough. Avocado toast and the Salmon Breakfast Bowl, with salmon, egg and avocado, are on the menu too.
In the mood for something sweet? Our pancakes are made with spelt and banana and served with Greek yoghurt, fresh fruit, walnuts and maple syrup. Or have an acai bowl with cacao granola, or a yoghurt bowl with strawberries and blueberries. Add a specialty coffee or matcha latte and your breakfast is complete.

Lunch with us is a proper meal, at your table and without hurry. Choose a warm bowl such as the Chimichurri Bowl or Chicken Tzatziki, or a fresh salad like Tokyo Greens or Avocado Caesar. Rather something you can eat by hand? There are wraps and sandwiches on Italian bread. And because brunch runs all day, you can just as easily add eggs benedict, Turkish eggs or a Salmon Breakfast Bowl at midday. Put a few dishes on the table and share, have a specialty coffee or matcha latte with it, and finish with a slice of banana bread. Have an allergy? Let us know and we will take care.

You are just as welcome if you only come for coffee. We serve specialty coffee, from cappuccino and flat white to iced latte, as well as chai latte and matcha latte made with ceremonial matcha, all with your choice of (plant-based) milk. Add banana bread or another treat from the counter. And at quieter times, feel free to open your laptop over a coffee.
reservations and groups
You are very welcome without a reservation; we will find you a spot as soon as one is free. It can get busy, especially at weekends and around lunchtime, so booking is a good idea: we will have a table ready and you can sit down straight away. Especially if you are coming with more people, for a birthday or a brunch or lunch with family or colleagues, it helps to let us know in advance. Then we will see where you will sit most comfortably, inside or on the terrace.

Our terrace at Gelderlandplein is not outdoors but inside the shopping centre's arcade. It has room for around thirty people, and you stay dry there all year round. From your table you can watch the bustle of the arcade go by while you enjoy breakfast, lunch or a coffee at your own pace.

getting here and parking

Find us at Gelderlandplein 114 (1082 LB Amsterdam), inside the shopping centre. Walk in through the main entrance on Gelderlandplein. By car, park in P1 under the centre (entrance Van Leijenberghlaan 43) or in P2 and P3 on De Loowaard; the first part of your stay is free. Trams 5 and 25 stop at A.J. Ernststraat, and from Amstelveen Stadshart tram 5 brings you here without a change. You can also take bus 62, or the free Gelderlandpleinlijn from Zuidas. Bike racks are at the entrances.

Can I book a table?
Yes, and it is a good idea: it can get busy, especially at weekends and around lunchtime. You can also book for a group. Walk-ins are welcome too; we will find you a spot as soon as one is free.

Mon–Tue 08:30–19:00, Wed–Sun 08:30–18:00, so you can come for breakfast every day from 08:30. Hours may differ on public holidays.

Yes. Besides brunch we have warm bowls, salads, wraps and sandwiches on Italian bread, and we bring everything to your table.
