Wij koken elke dag met verse ingrediënten van lokale leveranciers in onze eigen keuken. Hoewel alles plantaardig is bieden we veel meer dan alleen sla. Onze filosofie is die van een whole foods plantaardig dieet. Dit betekent geen bewerkte producten, toegevoegde suikers en geraffineerde oliën in onze gerechten.

In our menu we want to reflect better what the seasons has to offer. Using seasonal ingredients is not only better for our planet but taste a whole lot better too.

The sun is shining and there are some hot days ahead! How can we adjust our diet during this hot weather? ⁠

First and most important is to hydrate yourself so: drink more water than you are used to! You can also drink coconut water. Coconut water is well known for its restoring hydration effect. ⁠

Another way to hydrate yourself is to eat food that contains more water than others like: strawberries, cucumber, courgettes, celery, lettuce and lemon. A soup or gazpacho, smoothie bowl or porridge are also good ways to get in more water.⁠

No appetite? Make sure that if that's your case, you eat food that nourishes your body: a good balance between (healthy) fat, protein, carbs and fiber. ⁠

You want to reduce eating foods that require more effort to digest – like those high in protein and sugar. ⁠

So.. first hot day is a fact but you're now well prepared for more days to come ;)
