About Oliver Green
Oliver Green is a fast-growing healthy fast-casual restaurant with a strong focus on sustainable and fresh food. We currently have 2 Oliver Green Express locations, where takeaway and delivery outweigh the restaurant itself, and 2 Oliver Green Cafés: plenty of seating and fuller service. We expect to open 2 more Oliver Green Cafés in Amsterdam in 2026.
About the role
As Area Manager you are responsible for several locations and make sure they all run to the same standard. You lead the shift leaders, keep the overview, and make sure the operation holds up every single day.
You spend a lot of time in the stores, coaching teams, steering where needed and addressing what has to be addressed. You guard quality, hygiene and execution, and make sure processes and ways of working are applied consistently everywhere.
You visit every location each week. You run the checks, see whether everything is clean and in order, and sit down with the shift leaders to talk through how things are going. You review rosters, look over the planning and adjust where needed. You keep an eye on counts and orders and make sure the systems and apps are used properly.
You spot where things can be better and act on it straight away — whether that means solving an operational problem, improving a way of working, or ironing out differences between locations.
You are also the first point of contact for the shift leaders. You support them in their role, help solve problems, and take responsibility when a situation calls for it. If someone can't get something resolved, you step in yourself. You report to and work closely with the Operational Manager. Once a week you join the management meeting to share the latest from the restaurants.
With your overview, decisiveness and energy, you make sure our locations don't just run well but keep getting better.
What we are looking for
- At least 2–3 years of experience in hospitality or retail, in a leadership role
- You can keep an overview across several locations
- You communicate clearly and directly
- You take responsibility and work independently
- You bring structure and improve processes
- You are not afraid to address people
- You are practical and switch gears quickly
